9 Paid Holidays (eligibility after 90 days from hire date) consisting of: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas and one floater to be taken any time between January 1st and December 31st of the current year and on a client holiday not observed by MEDA Engineering and Technical Services. 

Paid Vacation: 1 week after completion of each 6 months with no accrual during the first 6 months accrued at the rate of 6.6 hours per month worked after the first 6 months. 3 weeks eligibility after the end of the 5th year accrued at 10 hours per month worked in the 6th and subsequent years. 4 weeks eligibility after the 10th year accrued at 13.3 hours per month worked in the 11th and subsequent.

Health Benefits: Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental and Vision.  Coverage will begin on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Life Insurance & AD&D: In the amount of twice annual base pay, 65% company paid to maximum of $150,000. Supplemental life buy up available at employee’s expense including spousal and dependant coverage. Coverage will begin on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment

Short Term Disability: 60% of weekly pay to a maximum of $1000/week of eligible earnings - 65% company paid. Coverage will be on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Long Term Disability:  66.67% of monthly pay to a maximum of $8000.00/month of eligible earnings – 65% company paid.  Coverage will begin on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Aflac:  Cash indemnity benefit plans - Personal Accident Indemnity, Personal Cancer Indemnity,  and Personal Disability Income Protector. Coverage will be on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

401K: Eligibility after 6 months employment on the next quarterly renewal date of the plan. Company will contribute 50% of employees’ contribution to a maximum of 3% and the plan’s maximum annual contribution limit. Fully vested after 4 years of employment.

Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $1200/year for pre-approved courses relevant to current or future assignments. Must achieve a grade of B or better. Minimum employment of 1 year before reimbursement but course can be approved and started in the last quarter of the first year of employment. No payment if employee is no longer employed at completion of course.

Note:
Part-time (under 32 hours worked per week on a consistent basis), casual or seasonal employees are not eligible for the above benefits.
